Lee County Business Incentives

 Lee County's Economic Development Office, the Fort Myers Regional Partnership, offers performance-based programs to attract and grow high-value business projects and promote broad-based prosperity in our community.

The Fort Myers Regional Partnership has also joined together with local banks to make money available to qualified local businesses for investment, expansion and to create much needed, high-paying jobs. Lee Is Lending.


The seven-member Industrial Development Authority board, appointed by the Lee County Commissioners, encourages both local and companies relocating to Lee County to use Industrial Development Revenue Bonds (IDRBs) to finance their projects.

The Lee County Enterprise Zone is a 10-square-mile area in central and east Fort Myers designated by the state of Florida for economic revitalization. By investing in and creating jobs within the zone, a company can become eligible to receive valuable tax and business incentives from the state.
