06-17-08 Special Olympics & Law Enforcement Torch Run Day NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Board of County Commissioners of Lee County, Florida that we do hereby proclaim June 17, 2008 as: "SPECIAL OLYMPICS and LAW ENFORCEMENT TORCH RUN DAY" in Lee County, Florida, and urge all citizens to join in commending the many athletes, volunteers and law enforcement personnel who bring pride to our community through encouraging, embodying and celebrating the power and spirit of the Special Olympics movement.
