OPERATION BLUE ROOF TO CONTINUE IN LEE FOR ONE MORE WEEK

FORT MYERS, Fla. (October 1, 2004) - Operation Blue Roof is a FEMA -assigned mission of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers that provide temporary roof repairs to residential structures as a result of Hurricane Charley. To date, the Corps has applied temporary roof covering to over 1,720 residential structures in Lee County alone.

This program will be continued in Lee County for one additional week until Friday, October 8th. Call 1-888-ROOF-BLU or 1-800-403-0573 if you sustained roof damage from Hurricane Charley and require temporary repairs to your roof. You will be given instruction for making application for this free service.
