Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Lee County, Florida will consider the enactment of a county ordinance on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at 9:30 a.m., in the County Commissioners' Meeting Room, Old Lee County Courthouse, 2120 Main Street, Fort Myers, Florida. The title of the proposed ordinance is:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF LEE COUNTY, FLORIDA ESTABLISHING THE LEE COUNTY COMMERCIAL TRUCK PARKING ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR THE PROHIBITION OF PARKING COMMERCIAL TRUCKS ON RESIDENTIALLY AND AGRICULTURALLY ZONED PRIVATE PROPERTY; PROVIDING FOR THE PROHIBITION OF PARKING COMMERCIAL TRUCKS ON PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAYS; PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF PROCEDURES FOR THE ISSUANCE OF PARKING CITATIONS AND TICKETS AND TOWING WHEN THE TERMS OF THIS ORDINANCE ARE VIOLATED; PROVIDING FOR SUPPLEMENTAL; CONFLICTS OF LAW; SEVERABILITY; SCRIVENER'S ERRORS; MODIFICATIONS THAT MAY ARISE FROM CONSIDERATION AT PUBLIC HEARING; AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Copies of this Notice and the proposed ordinance are available for inspection or copying during regular business hours at the Minutes Office of the Clerk of Courts of Lee County, located in the Courthouse Administration Building, 2115 Second Street, Fort Myers, Florida. Interested parties may appear at the meeting in person or through counsel, and be heard with respect to the adoption of the proposed ordinance.
Anyone wishing to appeal the Board's decision(s) with respect to any matter considered at this meeting will need a record of the proceedings. Generally, a verbatim record, including all testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, will be necessary.
