PUBLIC NOTICE

PLEASE BE ADVISED that members of the Lee County Conservation Land Acquisition and Stewardship Committee (CLASAC) and County staff will conduct a site inspection of property to be considered by the Committee, as follows:

DATE:            Monday, January 3, 2011

Property 1:   Nomination 163-3; 309.7 +/-acres;

The property is located in Alva, just north of the Conservation 20/20 Alva Scrub Preserve (Nomination 357)

Strap Nos.:    Multiple parcels within Sections 28 & 33, Township 43 South, Range 27 East

Time:              9:00 a.m. (Approximate time frame 1 and ½ to 2 hours for field review)

Where:           2981 Goggin Road, Alva, FL, meet at the northwest boundary of the site.

Property 2:   Nomination 460; 450 +/-acres;

The property is located in North Fort Myers off of North River Road just south of the Conservation 20/20 Telegraph Creek Preserve (Nomination 236-2)

Strap Nos.:    Multiple parcels within Sections 14 & 15, Township 43 South, Range 26 East

Time:              1:30 p.m. (Approximate time frame 1 and ½ to 2 hours for field review)

Where:           15701 N. River Road, Alva, FL, meet at the home site just north of Telegraph creek

Two or more members of the CLASAC Committee may attend the site inspection.  No final decisions on acquisition of the property will be made during the site visit.  Members of the public are welcome, but must provide their own transportation and other accommodations as necessary.
