PUBLIC NOTICE
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday, the 11thday of May, 2011, from 7:00 o'clock p.m., to 9:00 o'clock p.m., a reception will take place at Charley's Cabana Bar, in the Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort & Spa, located at 17260 Harbour Pointe Drive, Fort Myers, Florida. The purpose of this reception is to meet Professor Brian E. Lapointe, a research professor with the Center for Marine Ecosystem Health, Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute at Florida Atlantic University; and Chuanmin Hu, University of South Florida. They are spearheading an environmental research project regarding nutrient pollution in the Gulf of Mexico.
Two or more County Commissioners are anticipated to attend this reception. The Commissioners may engage in informal discussions and may individually speak about and/or respond to questions concerning matters of interest and relevance to the citizens of Lee County. No actions or decisions of the Commissioners on any County matters will be taken at this event.
