NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that public hearings will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at 9:30 a.m., in the County Commissioners Chambers, Old Lee County Courthouse, 2120 Main Street, Fort Myers, Florida, by the Lee County Board of County Commissioners to consider the enactment of two County ordinances:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE LEE COUNTY PERSONAL WATERCRAFT RENTAL VENDOR AND PARASAILING LICENSE ORDINANCE (LCO 95-13) TO ADD AN ADDITIONAL LOCATION FOR THE OPERATION OF PERSONAL WATERCRAFT VENDORS.
AND
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE LEE COUNTY VESSEL CONTROL AND WATER SAFETY ORDINANCE (LCO 08-14) TO REFINE THE PROVISIONS APPLICABLE TO LAND-BASED SITES CAPABLE OF SUPPORTING PERSONAL WATERCRAFT OPERATIONS.
Copies of this Notice and the proposed Ordinance are on file in the Minutes Office of the Lee County Clerk of Courts and the Public Resources Office. Both offices’ are located in the Courthouse Administration Building, 2115 Second Street, Fort Myers, Florida.
Interested parties may appear at the meeting, in person or through counsel, and be heard with respect to the adoption of the proposed ordinance.
To appeal a Board decision made during a public hearing, a record of the proceedings will be needed. The person appealing the decision is required to ensure that the necessary verbatim record is made.
