NOTICE OF INTENT TO ENACT A LEE COUNTY ORDINANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of Lee County, Florida will consider the enactment of a county ordinance on Tuesday, the 24th day of November 2009, at 10:00 o'clock a.m., in the County Commissioners' Meeting Room, Old Lee County Courthouse, 2120 Main Street, Fort Myers, Florida. The title of the proposed ordinance is:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF LEE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING LEE COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 04-09 INCREASING THE IMPOSITION AND COLLECTION OF AN ADDITIONAL SURCHARGE FROM FIFTEEN DOLLARS ($15) TO THIRTY DOLLARS ($30.00) FOR NON-CRIMINAL TRAFFIC INFRACTIONS OR CRIMINAL VIOLATIONS LISTED IN SECTION 318.17 FOR FUNDING STATE COURT FACILITIES; PROVIDING FOR PARTIAL SUNSET; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS OF LAW; SEVERABILITY; CODIFICATION AND SCRIVENERS ERRORS AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF DECEMBER 1, 2009.
