​PUBLIC NOTICE

            On Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at 10:30 a.m., the Lee County Board of County Commissioners will meet in executive attorney / client session for the purpose of settlement discussions in the county litigation case of Archer Western Contractors, LLC, formerly known as Archer Western Contractors, Ltd. v. Lee County, E.C. Driver &Associates, Inc., URS Corp., and James M. Phillips, III, P.E., Case No. 2:14-CV-469-FtM-38CM, United States District Court. 

            The opening of the public meeting will convene in the County Commission Chambers, Old Lee County Courthouse, 2120 Main Street, Fort Myers, Florida, and will adjourn to a closed session in the Lee Room of the Old Lee County Courthouse, 2120 Main Street, Fort Myers, Florida.  Upon conclusion of the closed session, the public meeting will reconvene in the County Commission Chambers. 

            The meeting will be held per the criteria of Florida Statutes, Section 286.011(8).  The following individuals will be in attendance at this closed executive session:  County Commissioners: John E. Manning, Cecil L Pendergrass, Larry Kiker, Brian Hamman, and Frank Mann; Attorneys:   Richard Wm. Wesch, Andrea R. Fraser, and  George Knott, and County Manager Roger Desjarlais.  The closed session of the meeting will be transcribed by Angela Klein or other representative of the court reporting firm of Fort Myers Court Reporting.
