​Notice of Public Hearing

A public hearing will be held to take comment related to the development of the annual Action Plan for US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Fiscal Year 2016-2017. Lee County will use 2015 budgeted figures for planning purposes as the 2016 amounts have not been announced. In general, housing, community development, and projects to assist the homeless will be undertaken.

The public hearing will take place during the Community Action Agency/Neighborhood District Committee meeting at 5:30 PM on November 12, 2015, at the Lee County Department of Human Services, 2440 Thompson Street, Fort Myers. Persons needing reasonable accommodations, including translation services, should contact Julie Boudreaux at 533-7930, by email at jboudreaux@leegov.com, or in person at the Lee County Department of Human Services, 2440 Thompson Street, Fort Myers, Florida 33901, no later than three business days prior to the hearing. All comments will be considered in preparing the plan and reported in the document.
