​Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Lee County, Florida will consider the enactment of two county ordinances on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at 9:30 a.m., in the County Commissioners' Meeting Room, Old Lee County Courthouse, 2120 Main Street, Fort Myers, Florida. The title of the proposed ordinances are:

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING LEE COUNTY ORDINANCE 06-26, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE 10-41 and 11-02, KNOWN AS THE LEE COUNTY PARKS AND RECREATION ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 10.9 PERTAINING TO INTOXICATING BEVERAGES AND ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES TO ALLOW SALE SERVICE AND CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ON COUNTY PARK PROPERTY UNDER CERTAIN LIMITED CIRCUMSTANCES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, INCLUSION IN THE CODE, SEVERABILITY; PERTAINING TO MODIFICATIONS THAT MAY ARISE FROM CONSIDERATION AT PUBLIC HEARING; AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

And

AN ORDINANCE OF LEE COUNTY, FLORIDA AMENDING ORDINANCE 14-15 REGULATING INDOOR AND OUTDOOR ENTERTAINMENT EVENTS; PROVIDING FOR EVENT PERMITTING WITHIN THE COUNTY; PROVIDING FOR DEFINITIONS; ESTABLISHING REQUIREMENTS AND APPLICATION PROCEDURES; REQUIRING PROOF OF LIABILITY INSURANCE AND BOND; PERTAINING TO MODIFICATIONS THAT MAY ARISE FROM CONSIDERATION AT PUBLIC HEARING; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS OF LAW, SEVERABILITY; CODIFICATION, INCLUSION IN CODE AND SCRIVENER'S ERRORS, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Copies of this Notice and the proposed ordinances are available for inspection or copying during regular business hours at the Minutes Office of the Clerk of Courts of Lee County, located in the Courthouse Administration Building, 2115 Second Street, Fort Myers, Florida. Interested parties may appear at the meeting in person or through counsel, and be heard with respect to the adoption of the proposed ordinances.

Anyone wishing to appeal the Board's decision(s) with respect to any matter considered at this meeting will need a record of the proceedings. Generally, a verbatim record, including all testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, will be necessary.
