For the purpose of Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on behalf of the Housing Finance Authority of Lee County, Florida with respect to the issuance of its Multi-Family Housing Revenue bonds in the aggregate principal amount of not to exceed $12,480,000.00 bonds pursuant to Chapter 159, Part IV, Florida Statutes.
The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at 9:30 AM, or as soon thereafter as can be heard, held in the County Commissioners' Chambers, Lee County Courthouse, 2120 Main Street, Fort Myers, Florida.
The proceeds of such bonds or such credit certificates will be used to finance and provide capital for investment and/or to fund or assist in the purchase of mortgage loans to qualified homebuyers of low, moderate or middle income for the construction, purchase or rehabilitation of owner-occupied single family residences located within participating Florida counties, including Lee County.
The bonds or credits will not constitute a debt of the State of Florida, Lee County or any participating counties or Housing Finance Authorities, but will be payable solely from the housing program.
Copies of this Notice and the proposed Resolutions are available for inspection or copying during regular business hours at the Minutes Office of the Clerk of Courts of Lee County, located in the Courthouse Administration Building, 2115 Second Street, Fort Myers, Florida. Interested parties may appear at the meeting of the Board of County Commissioners, in person or through a representative, and be heard by the Board on the proposed Resolutions.
Anyone wishing to appeal the Board's decision(s) with respect to any matter considered at this meeting will need a record of the proceedings. Generally, a verbatim record, including all testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, will be necessary.
