Notice is hereby given that beginning on December 5, 2019 and ending December 19, 2019, public comment will be accepted on proposed changes to Lee County’s NSP Program. The amendment adds an activity to acquire, demolish and reconstruct vacant single-family lots. This is an eligible activity under the category of Redevelopment and is located in the target area previously identified for foreclosed and abandoned properties. The amendment will obligate $250,000 in NSP funds to carry out this activity.

The proposed amendments are listed below, and may be viewed on the County website at www.leegov.com/dhs/housing/nsp (click on “Draft Amendments”). All comments will be considered in preparing the final amendment and reported in the documents submitted to HUD.
