NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, the 15th day of June 2021, at 9:30 a.m., or as
soon thereafter as can be heard, in the County Courthouse, 2120 Main Street, Fort Myers, Florida,
the Board of County Commissioners of Lee County, Florida, will consider the enactment of a
County Resolution to Amend Resolution No. 20-04-07, pursuant to the State Constitution, Florida
Statutes, and Lee County Ordinance No. 98-25. The title of the proposed Resolution are is as
follows:
A RESOLUTION AMENDING LEE COUNTY RESOLUTION NO. 20-04-07
RELATING TO THE “BRISTOL ROAD PAVING & WATER CIP MUNICIPAL
SERVICE BENEFIT UNIT” FOR PURPOSES OF REMOVING THE WATER
PORTION OF THE UNDERLYING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROVIDING A
REVISED ESTIMATE COST, AND RENAMING THE MUNICIPAL SERVICE
BENEFIT UNIT; AND PROVIDING FOR MODIFICATIONS THAT MAY ARISE
FROM CONSIDERATION AT PUBLIC HEARING
Copies of this Notice and the proposed resolution are available for inspection during regular
business hours at the Office of MSTBU located in the County Administration Building, 2115
Second Street, Fort Myers, Florida.
Pursuant to Lee County Ordinance No. 98-25, all objections to the confirmation of the preliminary
assessment roll must be made in writing, and filed with the MSTBU Coordinator, as designee of
the County Manager, at or before the time of the hearing.
The Board of County Commissioners will meet and receive the objections in writing of interested
persons at the public hearing. The special assessments resulting from the confirmation of the
preliminary assessment roll will be final and conclusive to each lot/parcel assessed unless steps
have been initiated to obtain relief within 20 days in a court of competent jurisdiction.
Interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed
resolution.
A verbatim record of the proceeding will be necessary to appeal a decision made at this hearing.
