NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, the 4th day of June, 2024, at a Regularly Scheduled Board Meeting beginning at 9:30 o'clock, a.m., in the County Commissioners' Meeting Room, Old Lee County Courthouse, 2120 Main Street, Fort Myers, Florida, the Board of County Commissioners of Lee County, Florida, will consider the adoption of a County Resolution amending Resolution No. 05-11-81, 11-04-27, 16-03-15, 17-06-02, 21-03-13, 23-05-19 and 23-11-15PA designating certain County employee positions for inclusion in the Senior Management Service Class of the Florida Retirement System pursuant to Florida Statutes, Section 121.055. The title of the proposed County Resolution is as follows:

A RESOLUTION OF LEE COUNTY, FLORIDA, FOR THE PURPOSE OF AMENDING RESOLUTION NOS. 05-11-81, 11-04-27, 16-03-15, 17-06-02, 21-03-13, 23-05-19, 23-11-15PA, DESIGNATING CERTAIN COUNTY EMPLOYEE POSITIONS FOR INCLUSION IN THE SENIOR MANAGEMENT SERVICE CLASS SPECIFICALLY, DIRECTOR STRATEGIC RESOURCES & GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS AND ASSISTANT TO THE COUNTY MANAGER, OF THE FLORIDA RETIREMENT SYSTEM AND INACTIVATING DIRECTOR BUDGET AND DEPUTY COUNTY MANAGER; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Copies of this Notice and the proposed Resolution are available for inspection or copying during regular business hours at the Minutes Office of the Clerk of Courts of Lee County, located in the Courthouse Administration Building, 2115 Second Street, Fort Myers, Florida. The Minutes Office can be reached at 239-533-2038. Interested parties may appear at the meeting in person or through counsel, and be heard with respect to the adoption of the proposed Resolution.

Anyone wishing to appeal the Board's decision(s) with respect to any matter considered at this meeting will need a record of the proceedings. Generally, a verbatim record, including all testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, will be necessary.
