PUBLIC NOTICE

PLEASE BE ADVISED that members of the Lee County Conservation Land Acquisition and Stewardship Committee (CLASAC) and County staff will conduct site inspections of property to be considered by the Committee, as follows:

DATE:            Thursday, December 2, 2010

Property 1:   Nomination 276-2; 213+/-acres;

The property is located off of Pine Island Road just over the bridge from Little Pine Island

Strap Nos.:    Multiple parcels within Sections 27 and 34, in Township 44 South, and Range 22 East

Time:              1:30 p.m. (Approximate time frame 1 hour for field review)

Where:           Meet at the Bank of America Parking lot located at 5041 Pine Island Road, Bokeelia, FL 33922

Property 2:  Nomination 365-2; 5+/-acres;

                        The property is located in the northwestern section of Pine Island just west of Stringfellow Road.

Time:              3:00 p.m. (Approximate time frame ½ hour for field review)

Where:           14855 Carlim Lane, Bokeelia, FL  33922.  Take Stringfellow Road north to Beach Daisy Lane west and south to the property.  The Carver Family Conservation 20/20 Preserve (Nomination 368) is adjacent to the west of this property. 

Two or more members of the CLASAC Committee may attend the site inspections.  No final decisions on acquisition of the property will be made during the site visits.  Members of the public are welcome, but must provide their own transportation and other accommodations as necessary.
