The public is encouraged to attend ANYTIME between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m.
The Lee County Department of Transportation (LC DOT) is designing a roundabout to improve the intersection of Crystal Drive and Plantation Road. A roundabout is a type of circular intersection in which motorists travel in one direction around a central island. Roundabouts have been used in other countries for several decades and research of roundabouts has refined the concept of a traffic circle into a design that has gained wider acceptance. Currently, construction is not funded. Lee County’s goal is to obtain the community’s input on the roundabout option before funding the project for construction.
