Details:  The construction provided a new facility that replaced all operational activities formerly taking place within and around the existing Bell Tower Shops which are located nearby. The South County Park-and-Ride/Transfer Station replaced existing and inadequate bus stops and transfer operations that utilizes both the public and right-of-way.  This project is consistent with Lee County (LeeTran’s) plans to provide premium level service, to reduce operating costs, and to minimize or eliminate conflicts of operating on private property.
