This facility has a small park, pavilions, a playground, baseball fields, and outdoor restrooms. All amentities in the park are on a first come, first served basis. The Community Center located in the park can be rented for small events such as baby showers, wedding receptions, birthday parties, or family reunions, etc. Please keep all motorized vehicles of the grass at all times. Please email bwemer@leegov.com or call (239) 922-4219 Monday through Friday for Alva Community Center reservations.

Pavilions

There are two pavilions located in Alva Community Park. The large pavilion has eight picnic tables and one grill. The small pavilion has two picnic tables and one grill.

Building Rental

  • The center can be rented between the hours of 8 a.m. - 11 p.m. Contact; Becca Wemer at 239-694-2291 or 239-922-4219 M - F 7:30a.m. - 3:00p.m.

  • Amenities include tables, chairs, stage, restrooms, and a kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator, ice machine, and sink.

  • The rental space is approximately 1500 sq ft.

  • There are eleven 6ft tables, five round tables, and chairs for 100 people available.

  • Sternos, candles, smoke/fog machines, glitter, and confetti are strictly prohibited for use on the property. Alcohol is also prohibited on property. Smoking is not permiited inside the center or within 50 ft of the center's entrances.
  • Staples, screws, or tacks on the tables, chairs, walls, on the outside of the building, or on the trees for decorations is not permitted. All decorations must be removed during clean up after your event.
  • There are approximately 10 parking spaces available. Please plan to carpool. Handicap parking is available.
  • All reservations will now require general liability insurance. The cost is roughly $100 and you can obtain this insurance through The Event Helper website. An Event Waiver and Release of Liability Form is also required.
  • ​The cost of the rental is $40 per hour and a $250 refundable security deposit is required.
  • We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover payment only.
  • A pre-inspection and post-inspection of the facility is required for each event.
  • There are no weekends available until January 2025.
The Community Center has a wide variety of programs and community events, including: 
  • Community meetings  
  • AA group meets every Wednesday - new members are welcome.
  • 4-H Meetings
