Elected officials, advisory committee members, and staff all have input on bike/pedestrian matters and have real impact on others’ lives.
So, BikeWalkLee invites you to take this opportunity to experience and learn about cycling conditions in our area – including the good, bad, and downright ugly.
Our next ride is Saturday June 1st, with distance offerings from 5 to 20 miles. On the routes we’ll experience Six Mile Cypress Preserve, Calusa Nature Center, North Colonial Linear Trail, and the John Yarbrough Linear Park, visiting both City of Fort Myers and Lee County facilities and jurisdictions.
We start at 8AM from Lakes Park (in Lot 2--first lot just inside the Gladiolus entrance)
We have Bikes and helmets to lend... all we need is you!
Contact me with the number of persons participating. If bikes and/or helmets are needed let me know age or approximate size of individual(s) for a good fit.
