NOTICE OF COUNTY COMMISSION

   SPECIAL WORKSHOP MEETING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, May 11, 2009, beginning at 2:00 p.m., the Board of County Commissioners will hold a Special Workshop Meeting in the Board Chambers, Old Lee County Courthouse, 2120 Main Street, Fort Myers, Florida.  It is anticipated that the Workshop Meeting will conclude at approximately 4:00 p.m.

The Special Workshop meeting is being held for the purpose of discussing the issues involved in the scope, breadth and timing of the search for the new Lee County Manager and providing direction to Staff.

This meeting is open to the public, and interested citizens are invited to attend, however, no public input will be taken at the Workshop Meeting.  Additionally, no decisions concerning the selection of a new County Manager will be made by the Board of County Commissioners at this Workshop Meeting.
