Meet at the service gate for Yucca Pens Preserve on Burnt Store Road in northwest Cape Coral. Driving directions: From the intersection of Pine Island Rd. and Burnt Store Rd., travel north on Burnt Store Rd. for 7 miles. After passing Cape Coral Fire Department Station 7 at NW 40th Lane (on the left side of the road), prepare in 0.6 mile to pull over on the right side of the road at the service gate entrance to the preserve.
PLEASE BE ADVISED that one or more members of the Lee County Conservation Land Acquisition and Stewardship Advisory Committee (CLASAC) – Conservation 20/20 Program and County staff will conduct a field trip to an existing Conservation 20/20 preserve, as follows:

What: CLASAC Field Trip: Yucca Pens Preserve
Time: 8:30 to 11 a.m. (Approximate time frame 2.5 hours for field trip)

Registration in advance is required and preference is given to CLASAC members due to limited seating in the tour vehicles. Please note: No decisions regarding management of the preserve will be made during the field trip. The Lee Board of County Commissioners makes final decisions regarding land management of Conservation 20/20 preserves.
