LEE COUNTY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING
THE HOUSING FINANCE AUTHORITY OF LEE COUNTY, FLORIDA'S
MULTI-FAMILY HOUSING REVENUE BONDS 

For the purpose of Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on behalf of the Housing Finance Authority of Lee County, Florida with respect to the issuance of its Multi-Family Housing Revenue bonds in the aggregate principal amount of not to exceed $17,396,000 bonds pursuant to Chapter 159, Part IV, Florida Statutes.

The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 9:30 AM, or as soon thereafter as can be heard, held in the County Commissioners' Chambers, Lee County Courthouse, 2120 Main Street, Fort Myers, Florida.

The net proceeds of the Bonds, if issued, are to be loaned by the Authority to the CROSSINGS CAPE CORAL PRESERVATION, LTD. for the purpose of financing the acquisition, construction, rehabilitation, equipping and development of a multifamily independent living facility for persons of low, middle or moderate income to be located in Lee County, Florida.

The Bonds shall not be a debt, liability or obligation of the Authority or of Lee County, Florida, or the State of Florida, or of any political subdivision thereof, but shall be payable solely from the above-referenced mortgage loans or securities evidencing an interest in or backed by a pool of such mortgage loans. The Bonds are not a debt of the United States of America or any agency thereof, or of GNMA, Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac, and are not guaranteed by the full faith and credit of the United States of America.

Copies of this Notice and the proposed Resolution are available for inspection or copying during regular business hours at the Minutes Office of the Clerk of Courts of Lee County, located in the Courthouse Administration Building, 2115 Second Street, Fort Myers, Florida. Minutes Office can be reached at 239-533-2328. Interested parties may appear at the meeting of the Board of County Commissioners, in person or through a representative, and be heard by the Board on the proposed Resolution.

Anyone wishing to appeal the Board's decision(s) with respect to any matter considered at this meeting will need a record of the proceedings. Generally, a verbatim record, including all testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, will be necessary.
