The Lee County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has collaborated with Lee County Health Department and its initiative.

Our Objective

To create a tobacco-free environment by increasing awareness of tobacco use and by restricting the use of tobacco products on Lee County BOCC properties, in a phased approach.

Our Plan of Action

To develop and implement a tobacco-free policy for Lee County employees and a Lee County Administrative Code or Ordinance for Lee County facilities; and identify and provide access to resources in the community that support our employees’ desire to quit tobacco products.
