COUNTY OPERATIONS:
Lee County Government offices resume normal operations on Thursday, August 31.
MULTI-AGENCY RESOURCE CENTERS (MARC):
Lee County Government has a Multi-Agency Resource Centers (MARC) available on Friday September 1, for residents from coastal areas who experienced flooding due to Hurricane Idalia and need resources.
The MARC has resources from United Way 211 as well as cleaning supplies and other household items from United Way's Gifts in Kind program. Information related to housing needs and recovery resources will be available from agencies such as the Lee County Department of Human & Veteran Services.
Residents are asked to bring a form of local identification such as a driver's license, utility bill or other item with their address. The MARCs are meant to serve those who experienced water intrusion into their homes due to Idalia's onshore winds combined with extreme high tides.
People with damaged residences due to Hurricane Idalia can continue to call United Way's 211 line for resources or register with Crisis Cleanup by calling 800-451-1954. United Way's 211 line can also provide transportation information if you need assistance traveling to a MARC location.
All LeeTran bus routes are running as normally scheduled and regular fares are being charged. Please be patient as isolated flooding or debris in the road may cause delays.
