About the Library

The Lee County Talking Books Library is a division of the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled. The library helps people who have a disability that makes it difficult to read a physical book. Registered Talking Books patrons are loaned a special playback machine, free of charge. They can also apply for access to the NLS download site for Braille and Audio Reading Downloads (BARD).
