Water Wonders Camp
Lakes Park June 16-20, 2025 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. – $85 per child/week (ages 12-13) Explore the Lake in Lakes Park! Have you ever wondered what lives in it, on it and around the lake? Through hands-on experiments, games, speakers and team challenges, campers will learn the secrets of the lake! All campers need to bring a lunch, two snacks, insulated water bottle, and sunscreen. A change of clothing and water shoes are required for this week. Slough Secrets
Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve June 16-20, 2025 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. – $85 per child (ages 8-9) Campers experience boardwalk explorations, scavenger hunts, and other activities to find out how animals and plants work together to make the Slough such a special place.
Outdoor Explorers Camp
Lee County Civic Center Complex June 16-20, 2025 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. – $85 per child/week (ages 11-13) Offers young nature enthusiasts an exciting opportunity to explore the outdoors, develop essential skills, and foster a love for nature. Fishing, wildlife observation, and survival skills will be included in these weeks. Colors of Nature Camp Lakes Park June 23-27, 2025 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. – $85 per child/week (ages 12-13) Do you just see green, brown, and blue outside? Unleash and explore your creativity through painting, recycling, textiles, and nature! All campers need to bring a lunch, two snacks, insulated water bottle, and sunscreen. Eco-Detectives Camp 1
Manatee Park June 23-27, 2025 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. – $85 per child (ages 8-10) Campers will spend the week learning about the many ecosystems represented in Manatee Park. They will go on outdoor adventures including kayak trips. There will be speakers and activities that educate and inspire your camper to care for the world around them.
Art in the Park Camp
Lakes Park June 30- July 3, 2025 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. – $85 per child/week (ages 8-9) Discover the varies types of art in the park and use different mediums to create your own masterpieces! Scavenger hunts, games, and good old fashion fun! All campers need to bring a lunch, two snacks, insulated water bottle, and sunscreen.
S.T.E.A.M. Camp
Lee County Civic Center Complex June 30-July 3, 2025 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. – $85 per child/week (ages 8-10) Designed for curious minds, this program blends hands-on activities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics to ignite creativity and foster a love for learning. Activities will include guest speakers, hands on projects and teamwork! Summer Naturalists
Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve July 7-11, 2025 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. – $85 per child (ages 10-12) Summer Naturalists love searching for animals in the Slough. Campers learn nature awareness techniques to notice wildlife, identify animal signs and understand how their presence can influence animals behavior. Hands-on learning occurs in every session and will include using binoculars, spotting scopes and artifacts. The week will culminate in a wet walk into the interior of the Slough.
World of Water Camp
Lakes Park July 7-11, 2025 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. – $85 per child/week (ages 8-9) Play games, make crafts, and explore water! From the lake water to the faucet water, we will play and learn from it all! Prepare to learn through games, crafts, Legos and team challenges. All campers need to bring a lunch, two snacks, insulated water bottle, and sunscreen. Wilderness Explorers
Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve July 28-Aug. 1, 2025 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. – $85 per child (ages 13-16) Campers challenge themselves in the areas of tracking, animal study, awareness and primitive skills. Examples of skills include fiber twining, shelter building and fire by friction.
