| Scope Of Work: | Lee County Transit Department (Lee Tran) is seeking to execute a single source for a Genfare Vendstar-4 Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) that provides convenient self-service vending for mass transit riders. The TVM has been designed for ease of operation and maintenance and will function reliably in any environment to include outdoors and Lee Tran has several already in place. The TVM dispenses magnetic stripe cards and paper and plastic smart cards for one or multiple trips. The TVM takes cash or credit cards to purchase trips and the smart card can be reloaded. Fare cards communicate with fare equipment during a transaction via an embedded microchip read by the smart card processor. |
