The above rates are reviewed annually by the Lee County Board of County Commissioners and became effective on Oct. 1 of each year with the adoption of a Resolution. View the approved 2024 Rate Resolution.
Please note:
Effective June 1, 2024, there will be an increase in rates for Tires and XL Tires at all Lee County Solid Waste disposal facilities located in Lee County ONLY.
The same increases will be effective July 1, 2024 for all Hendry County facilities.
In addition, Lee County Solid Waste will begin assessing a $10.00 fee for each unsecured load entering a Lee County Solid Waste campus in Lee or Hendry County. For more information regarding the Florida State

A solid waste revenue sufficiency study was performed on the Solid Waste Department in 2023.
