The FGCU Tennis Complex, located next to Alico Arena, includes 12 lighted hard-surface courts with courtside bleachers. Home of the Eagles tennis programs, the complex opened in 2000 a short lob from the student residence halls. In 2004 and 2005, the FGCU Tennis Complex was home to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s regional and national championships for NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, and National Junior College Athletic Association championships in men’s and women’s singles and doubles championships. In 2005, it served as a district championship site for the Florida High School Athletic Association.
