The County Manager's Office carries out the policy direction of the Board of County Commissioners and oversees the operations of county departments.



Dave Harner

Bio
Dave Harner has dedicated his career to public services and has served as County Manager in Lee County since Aug. 1, 2023. He oversees a $2.6 billion budget and 2,800 employees. He previously served as Deputy County Manager for nearly five years, where he was the Chief Operations Officer for Lee County and oversaw all assistant county managers and had direct supervision of the county’s Human Resources, Natural Resources and Transportation departments. In his more than three-decade career with Lee County, Harner also has been director of Parks & Recreation and interim director of Domestic Animal Services. Harner is a U.S. Navy veteran.

The Assistant County Managers work with the individual departments and the Deputy County Manager to oversee the day-to-day of County operations.



Peter Winton

Bio
Pete Winton has been with Lee County since 1995 and has served as an Assistant County Manager since November 2004. Before serving in his current role, Winton worked in the County's Economic Development department as well as functioning as the County's Director of Communication. He was appointed to Chief Financial Officer in January 2015. Before joining Lee County, Winton worked for 10 years in the private sector as an accountant and journalist.

Glen Salyer

Bio
Glen Salyer, who joined Lee County in 2002, was named an Assistant County Manager in March 2016. He acts as the County's legislative liaison, oversees several departments, and also leads the County's performance and analytics initiative designed to improve operations countywide, enhance transparency and increase efficiency and accountability. Prior to his current position, Salyer worked in Lee County's Economic Development department. Salyer served in the Navy Reserve and is a member of The Florida Bar.

Christine Brady

Bio
Christine Brady joined Lee County in 2006 after nearly 20 years of work in the private sector. She led the County's Human Resources department before taking on her current role as Assistant County Manager in March 2014.

Marc Mora

Bio
Marc Mora was named an Assistant County Manager in February 2020, after serving as director of Fleet Management since 2019. Mora worked at the School District of Lee County for 22 years, most recently as the Executive Director of Operational Planning & Project Management.

Robert Codie

Bio
Robert Codie was named an Assistant County Manager in May 2023, after serving as Transit Director since 2018. Previously Codie held a variety of leadership roles with the School District of Lee County and has more than 12 years of senior leadership experience.
