Want to Become a Master Gardener?
The UF/IFAS Lee County Extension Service conducts Master Gardener Volunteer training every 18 months. This 14-week comprehensive course will offer students thorough training on basic botany, horticulture, pest management, and the principles of Florida's unique and delicate horticultural ecology. Florida Yards & Neighborhoods Classes
Learn the principals of Florida-Friendly Landscaping™
(FFL) using low-maintenance plants and environmentally sustainable practices. Lee County Extension Master Gardeners will provide
materials and instructions on the nine principals of creating and maintaining a
“Florida-Friendly Yard.” This program
will teach you how to cultivate a beautiful landscape that can save you time,
energy and money while protecting our delicate South Florida environment.
