The highly-regarded travel magazine, with a circulation of 777,000, surveyed its discerning readers for the November 2005 issue, asking them to rate their favorite island destinations for ambience, friendliness, lodging, restaurants, and shopping. Sanibel Island ranked fourth, while Captiva Island came in at No. 6.
