​I'm retiring next month. What do I have to do?

New retirees must schedule an appointment with a Benefits staff member to complete retirement paperwork and enroll in the insurance plans they wish to continue. To schedule your appointment, call 239-533-2245. When you come for your appointment you should bring the following documents with you:

• Birth Certificate
• Driver's License or Picture ID
• Spouse's birth certificate - may be needed, depending on the FRS Retirement option you choose
