There are two key ways in which patrons and visitors may support the Lee County Library System:
Support a Specific Library Location The system purchases relevant materials throughout the year. If a topic is trending, the system is purchasing materials to supply the demand. Additionally, the system is always looking at new programs and new services though it has a finite budget. A donation can be designated for a specific material program or use. If preferred, checks may be
made payable to LCLS-Donations and mailed to:

Support the Southwest Florida Reading Festival The library system’s most pressing need is funding for the annual Reading Festival. The festival’s allure is the line‐up of more than 25 nationally acclaimed best‐selling authors for all reading interests and ages. These authors attract the crowd, and the festival provides a fantastic venue for promoting reading, literacy and free library services. The Reading Festival began in 2000, is free to the public and is entirely reliant on sponsorships, grants and donations.
