English Café is a free and fun way to practice speaking English at libraries in Lee County. You will need basic English skills to join in. English Café Brochure | Folleto Informativo English Café

News For You Online is a website with easy-to-read news and more used in English Café. New stories are added each Wednesday. Please contact the library for the password. 

Practice conversational Spanish with others on current events and everyday situations. Intermediate to advanced Spanish-speaking skills are recommended in order to get the most out of a session.

Literacy Collection Materials
A range of collection materials are available to support language learning, literacy awareness and education.

Gale Courses offers a wide range of highly interactive, instructor led courses entirely online. Courses run for six weeks; new sessions begin every month. Topics range from accounting and business to health care, legal and technology.

From resume and cover letter templates to interviewing techniques and job networking, this online resource provides job seekers and students with career information and tips.

Identify scholarships, use test prep materials and take practice tests. Practice tests include GED, Citizenship, SAT, ACT, ASVAB and Real Estate Exam.

Resources to help adults improve their reading and writing skills are located at each of our thirteen branch locations. These books, CD’s, and DVDs are catalogued as the READY Collection and are shelved together. The READY Collection for Adult Learners has materials to help with:
