| Scope Of Work: | 1. GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK
Lee County Board of County Commissioners seeks to contract professional consulting services to provide bid support, permit support, and construction administration for the construction of the Class I Phase IV landfill cells and associated stormwater ponds.
2. INTRODUCTION
The COUNTY owns and operates the Lee/Hendry County Landfill (Landfill) in Felda, Florida. The Landfill consists of a 53-acre Class I Landfill, a 25-acre lined Class III Landfill, and a 36-acre Class I Ash Monofill. The project includes the construction of Class I Phase IV (Cells 13 and 14) encompassing around 13 acres and associated stormwater systems, pump stations, and access improvements. The engineered design and bid documents for Phase IV have been prepared by HDR Engineering, Inc. The selected CONSULTANT will provide bid support, permit support, and construction administration services for the anticipated 18-month project (6 months for the bid process and 12 months for construction).
