Signal priority system for DOT is required to maintain the highest level of efficiency and safety for all road users resulting in reduction of total carbon emission and fuel consumption, improved travel time and reliability to the motoring public, and an overall improvement in safety. Route priority system must be compatible with Econolite Centracs advanced traffic management system, as all signals are Econolite manufactured.
