Adopt a Road Application

Productivity Report

Rules to Qualify

• The road must be:
  1)  A County-maintained roadway 
  2)  An arterial or collector roadway.
  
• Participants must:
  1)  Be 14 years old or older
  2)  Pick up litter six or more times per year
  3)  Adopt a 1/2 mile or more of county roadway

Free Supplies

• Two roadside signs recognizing your group's earth-friendly efforts and community pride in keeping Lee   
  County litter-free
• Reporting forms
• Garbage bags
• Safety vests
• Pick-up sticks
• Disposal of filled garbage bags

Duties

• Pick up the light trash along the roadways and medians
• Put the filled bags by the Adopt-A-Road sign for pick-up
• Call us to get the bags picked up
• Send us your report form (by phone, fax, mail, email)
