If providing Individual Engineering or Individual Calculations, please upload site specific, digitally signed and
sealed plans done by a Florida state registered Design Professional.
Additional Documents:
• Notice of Commencement- Required if the job value is greater than $5000.
• Owner Builder Disclosure Statement*- Required if the Owner Builder is applying for the permit and
completing the work.
• Custom Windows System Letter- Required if replacing Acrylic/Vinyl panels.
• HOA/Condo Approval Letter- Required if the work is being completed on a Multi-Family home or
Condo/Townhouse with 3+ units.
The Shutter Worksheets are no longer required for new Shutter Installation.

Window and Door Pressure Calculations
On the application you may select to use Lee County’s Mastered pressures when applying for size for size window and door replacements. If you will not be using Lee County’s Master Calculations, you must provide Engineered Plans as outlined above.
WINDMSTR23 - Lee County’s Alternate Method for Size for Size Window/Door replacements on windows/doors less than or equal to 60 feet high. These are the pressure requirements if individual pressures or engineering is not submitted.
Mobile Homes are required to comply with the below referenced pressures but are exempt from Impact Protection. Impact Protection is required for any Additions to a Mobile Home.
Wind Speed Maps can be found in the current Florida Building Code. The
LeeSpins map will also provide helpful Wind Speed information by enabling the
Wind Speed Bldg Risk layers (found under the Public Safety category).
