CPA2017-00001 - Growth Management
Current Status - Effective
Amend the Lee Plan to align land use and transportation policies. The amendments that deal with land use will: clarify existing requirements; reorganize the goals, objectives, and policies to group topics such as development standards, growth management, and mixed use; and provide for alternative development regulations that allow for urban forms of development within the Mixed Use Overlay. The amendments that address transportation will: reduce redundancies, align with state statutes, recognize a multi-modal transportation network; and allow for different roadway cross-sections based on location. The proposed amendments will not change allowable densities and intensities within Lee County. Lee Plan Goals to be amended include Goals 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 10, 11, 16, 18, 20, 21, 27, 28, 30, 32, 33, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 43, 44, and 135; and maps 3D-1, 3D-2, 3D, 19 and 22.
CPA2017-00002 - CEMEX ALICO QUARRY EXTENSION

Request to amend Map 14 of the Future Land Use Map Series to add 165+/- adjacent to existing Cemex Mine.
CPA2017-00003 - Capital Improvement and Water Supply Management
Current Status - Effective
Amend the Lee Plan to align provisions within Lee Plan Goals 2, 4, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 60, 61, 62, 64, 66, 67, 76, 79, 82, 83, 84, 95, 115, and 117 with the Board of County Commissioners strategic policy priority of managing growth (provision of adequate public facilities and services). The amendments will also reduce redundancies; align with state statutes; and, provide better organization of the Lee Plan.
CPA2017-00004 - NORTH FORT MYERS MIXED USE OVERLAY EXPANSION
Current Status - Effective
Amend Lee Plan Map 1, Page 6, to expand the Mixed Use Overlay on 56 properties, approximately 287.57 acres, located at the intersections of US 41 and Diplomat and Littleton Roads, the intersection of North Tamiami Trail and Pine Island Road, and along North Key Drive in North Fort Myers.
CPA2017-00005 - Bay Harbour Marina Village DRMUWD
Current Status - Denied
Request to amend Lee Plan Future Land Use Map to designate 7.47+/- acres from the Industrial and Suburban future land use map categories to Destination Resort Mixed Use Water Dependent (DRMUWD) with accompanying text amendments. Amend Table 1(a) to allow bonus density in DRMUWD and amend Table 1(b), Year 2030 Allocations, to accommodate additional residential development.
CPA2017-00006 - Conservation & Coastal Management

(COUNTY-INITIATED) Amend the Lee Plan to align provisions within Lee Plan with the Board of County Commissioners strategic policy priority of preservation, water quality, and flood management. The amendments will also reduce redundancies; align with state statutes; and, provide better organization of the Lee Plan.
CPA2017-00007 - Water Dependent Overlay
Current Status - Withdrawn
(COUNTY-INITIATED) Amend policies and objectives in Goal 8, 128, and 158 of the Lee Plan to clarify the definitions of Water-Dependent Overlay, water-dependent uses, and marine-dependent uses, and to allow for greater flexibility of uses in the Water-Dependent Overlay. In addition, data will be moved from Map 1, Page 2: Special Treatment Areas and Map 2: San Carlos Island Map 12: Water-Dependent Overlay Zones to locate the Water-Dependent Overlay designation zones onto a single map series.
CPA2017-00008 - Chapter 13
Current Status - Effective
(COUNTY-INITIATED) Amend the Procedures and Administration Element of the Lee Plan to remain compliant and consistent with state statutes; remove redundancies within the Lee Plan and with state statutes; and relocate procedural provisions to an administrative code. The proposed Administration Element addresses the effect and legal status of the plan, administrative and legislative interpretations of the plan and amendments to the plan.

CPA2017-00010 - Community Planning Administrative Update
Current Status - Effective
Amend the Lee Plan Future Land Use Element to: create two subelements titled Growth Management and Community Planning; locate the community plan goals to the Community Planning subelement; revise the community plan goals as necessary for consistency and clarity; provide a definition for Community Plan and a single policy for all community plan areas regarding public information meetings and community plan boundaries; and delete Goal 19 relating to Estero. Amend the following Lee Plan Future Land Use Maps to reflect municipal incorporations and annexations: Map 1 (Pages 1, 2, 4, and 6) and Map 15.
